The University of Belgrade – Faculty of Law and the Serbian National Internet Domain Registry Foundation (RNIDS) organized for the eleventh consecutive time the annual conference “Internet Dialogue” dedicated to digital technologies law. This year’s conference was held on 11 and 12 September 2025 in the Serbian Chamber of Commerce, which supported the conference altogether with its Center for the Digital Transformation (CDT).

First day of the “Internet Dialogue 2025” was dedicated to digital competition law, AI and copyright, and digital services. The participants of the first panel entitled “Ensuring free and undistorted competition” were: Dr. Thibault Schrepel (Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam and Stanford University), Dr. Or Brook (University of Oxford), Dr. Dušan Popović (University of Belgrade), Olga Šipka (SOG in cooperation with Kinstellar, Belgrade) and Agnes Lackenberger (Kinstellar, Vienna). The second panel was entitled “AI and copyright: a tech company perspective”. The exclusive guest of the “Internet Dialogue 2025” conference was Dr. Cedric Manara, Head of Copyright at Google. Following his introductory speech, Dr. Manara engaged into discussion on current copyright issues with Prof. Dušan V. Popović (University of Belgrade). The third panel was entitled “EU Digital Services Act: the Serbian perspective”. The panel was chaired by Ms. Anja Tasić, partner at the law firm “Radovanović Stojanović and Partners”. The speakers in this panel were: Prof. Sanja Savčić (University of Novi Sad), Prof. Marko Jovanović (University of Belgrade), Prof. Jelena Lepetić (University of Belgrade) and Doc. Novak Vujičić (University of Belgrade).

The second conference day was dedicated to digital services, collective management of copyright and related rights, and Internet domain names. The first panel on the second day was also entitled „EU Digital Services Act: the Serbian perspective“. The discussions, started on the first conference day, on the harmonisation of Serbian law with the DSA continued. The panelists were: Prof. Slobodan Marković (University of Belgrade), Prof. Dušan V. Popović (University of Belgrade), Prof. Svjetlana Ivanović (University of East Sarajevo), Doc. Maša Mišković (University of Belgrade) and Nikola Kliska (Head of IP at the law firm „Karanović & Partners“). The panel was chaired by Prof. Sanja Savčić (University of Novi Sad). The second panel was entitled „Collective management of copyright and related rights in the digital markets“ and was chaired by Doc. Novak Vujičić (University of Belgrade). The panelists were: Vladimir Marić (Director of the Serbian IP Office), Pavle Pavičić (Head of International Cooperation at Sokoj) and Stevan Pajović (partner at the law firm „T-S Legal“ and legal representative of UFUS-AFA). The third panel was entitled „Internet domain names: re-examining the Serbian case law“. The panelists were: Prof. Marko Knežević (University of Novi Sad) and Doc. Miloš Vukotić (University of Belgrade). The panel was chaired by Prof. Dušan Popović (University of Belgrade).
